I have worked in the EdTech space for the last 15 years. For 10 years I lead efforts to re-platform the two leading online assessment applications that are offered by the College Board, both ACCUPLACER and CLEP. I was also instrumental in efforts to build a division at the College Board that was solely focused on supporting digital initiatives across the different programs including AP Capstone and the SAT digital assessment.
In 2014, I took advantage of the opportunity to work with Parcc Inc. where I was responsible for overseeing the online administration of the PARCC summative assessment to over 5 million students across several states during a period of just under four months. This represented one of the most successful online administrations of a high-stakes digital assessment in the history of the industry. The PARCC assessment continues to be a model for online administration and has been a catalyst for the wide-scale adoption of online assessment adoption. In addition, I oversaw the development of several platforms that have been leveraged to administer formative assessments, data reporting and analysis and a portal for educational resources.
In late 2016, I was introduced to MZ Development and the innovative work they were doing in the area of online distributed scoring and reporting. I was so impressed with the work they had done and the power and potential of the platform that I decided to take a leadership role within the organization. I’m working now at MZ Development to help build strategic relationships with organizations that are well positioned to take advantage of the power and flexibility of OSCAR.

Daisy began her career in performance assessment after teaching both high school and college English. In her first job with Harcourt, she learned the ropes as a scorer and scoring supervisor. In her second scoring season, she joined Measurement Incorporated (MI) where she worked as a scoring director for a number of projects across the span of five years. From MI, she moved to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) where she became the consultant for all performance assessment. In that position, she was responsible for the development, administration, scoring and reporting across all content areas.
From NCDPI, Ms. Vickers took a position at Pearson as the Director of Performance Scoring. In that role, she was responsible for customer contacts, scoring design, and the quality metrics associated with all performance scoring projects. During this time, she was also heavily involved with helping clients create and modify rubrics, develop training, and create organizational models for operational scoring. Projects at Pearson included SAT, NBPTS, ACT, and numerous state assessments. She was also responsible for research involving performance scoring and later moved to the Next Generation Research Center within Pearson.
